The members of the Board have a wide range of skills and experience. The skills needed are reviewed periodically as are current and future development needs.

The main Board activities are supported by three sub committees dealing with Finance, Development and Policy Reviews. The Finance sub committee considers the Society’s accounts, audit reports and approves the Budget.

The Development sub committee considers potential schemes, sites and oversees the Society’s Development strategy.

The Standards Sub Committee reviews all policies and procedures while the main regulatory returns are approved by the full Board prior to submission.

All Board members provide their services on a voluntary basis and are unpaid.
