Our Properties

Radcliffe is a registered provider offering a range of rented housing in the areas of Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth, Southwark in London, and Hastings, Tandridge and Tunbridge Wells outside London.  We house people in housing need.

Market Rented Properties

There are currently 8 Market Rented properties based in Tunbridge Wells.

The flats are let on a commercial basis to applicants who have good references for tenancy conduct and are able to demonstrate that the rent is within their means. Payment of the deposit (equivalent to one months rent) secures the flat subject to satisfactory references.

A list is held of those expressing an interest in the flats, but given the high level of turnover in the private rented sector applicants will often have moved on by the time a vacancy arises. If it has not been possible to fill a vacancy from the list then applicants are sought through local estate agents.

Viewings are arranged by the Tenancy Services Officer, and if an applicant expresses an interest a simple form is completed.

Social Housing Properties

If you’re not a current Radcliffe Housing Society tenant
and you want to live in one of our social housing homes, you’ll first need to contact your local authority.

Most local authorities/councils have a housing waiting list so you’ll need to apply to go on that. Once you’ve done so – assuming your application is successful – you’ll then be able to apply for any available social housing homes (including Radcliffe’s).

If you’re already a Radcliffe Housing Society tenant
we have a limited number of properties available to Radcliffe tenants who wish to transfer to another home within Radcliffe.

Mutual Exchange

Should you wish to apply for a Mutual Exchange, please register your details on HomeSwapper (if you haven’t already done so). After we have approved your account you will have the ability to apply for an exchange directly through the website.
